mottled javas

Mottled Javas are a variety within the breed Java. The APA recognizes two varieties of Javas; Black and Mottled.
The APA classifies poultry in six categories according to the geographical regions they were developed in they are: Continental, Mediterranenan, American, English, Asiatic and All Other Standard Breeds. There are many breeds encompassed within each class, Javas belong to the Amercian Class of poultry.
