moulting & egg laying ??

How long does moulting normally last, since moulting my hens having laid a single egg I have over 20 all under a year but over 18 weeks.
will they lay once moulting has ended ?????

Those under a year won't necessarily molt this fall. Molting takes anywhere from 6 weeks to 3 months depending on whether it's a hard or soft molt. Generally the better the layer the harder the molt. Lazy layers take longer to molt usually.
