Moulting...or something else?

I brought my Mille Fluer hen inside 2 days ago so her feathers don't get broken before show. However, today I realized that her sleeping bin is FILLED with feathers, and they just fall right out in handfuls when I pick her up...

Is it normal for this much to fall out so suddenly?

Also, I have started her on a higher protien diet, and recently her "poo" has been mostly white and sticky, she is panting (even though her room is nice and cool), and she is kind of shaky.

Any ideas of what this is, and what I can do to help her feel better?

Exactly what kind of feed is she on? How old is she? Is she laying?

She is on layer pellets (plus some high protien treats; in moderation). She just turned 1 year old, and she is laying. I don't know when her last egg was, but there is no egg in her right now.

She winces when I press on her pubic bone (like she is going to poop), but nothing happens. It feels crunchy inside, like an egg has broken inside her. Could this cause these things to happen?
