sigh....

how long does moulting usually last in ducks. I've not gotten an egg in over 2 months.

Mine are just coming back into lay now. Are you starting to notice the new feathers growing back in ?? Mine have returned to the gorgeous more vibrant colour of 4 months ago now- however they still look funny with their stumpy wings. Mine stopped for about 7 weeks - so you may not have to wait to much longer. Day length may still be a contributing factor other than the molt itself.

thanks, good to know.

The one girl, you can really notice her new feathers coming in, on her wings. She's coming in a bit darker. Do W.H's usually darken as they age - the females that is.

My Harlequin runners have. I was actually just waiting for them to finish growing their wings back so I can take photos for comparison. I sure hope the new colours mean they will do better in the show pen this year.

If her wing feathers are coming in..It shouldnt be too much longer to wait.
