moulting

Is there any thing special I should be feeding my chickens to help them through moulting?

I don't know I would keep them on chick starter and wean them off of it after the moulting, Maybe?

Dry cat food will help them out.

I put everybody back on unmedicated chick starter for the molting season and supplement free choice oyster shell for the layers. It's worked better for me than supplementing cat food.

If they need more protein you will know! They will start picking on each other and eating feathers, you'll see more fights and may even see some walking backward or ducking their heads and walking sideways.
