Mount Quail Leg Problems!!!!!

I noticed that one of my male mountain quail has began to grown these calluses on its legs!! Can anyone please help me with this!!

Goodness. Um.... Do they seem to give him pain? I don't know a whole lot but maybe corona (the cream, not the beer)? Does he get all the nutrients he needs? And not too much? Sorry I can't be more help, that's crazy looking.

Could be some kind of mites? Don't know much about what might attack quail, but you could always try DE or ivermectin or something else that'll kill mites. I kind of think it looks a bit like some kind of fungal infection too, though. So you might want to try some kind of fungicide.

Same as with chickens. Start treatment.
Start putting a mite preventive like "viper dust" in their dust baths to prevent mites.
