First two are of Wilcox Pass in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada.
This first one was taken from another Mt. Athabasca.

This one from a hike through the pass.

This next one is from the start of climbing up Mt. Athabasca. The curving peak is not the peak. It is more in the background. The curving "peak" is a climb called Silverhorn (which I climbed on this day).

Summit ridge, from the top of Silverhorn.

This next one is the Athabasca Glacier. Shot taken from the road that goes by it, in winter. I lived/worked 5 miles to the right (north) for 7.5 years, back in 82 to 89.

A couple water fall pictures that were near the work camp I lived in.

In winter, they freeze.
A couple friends in the pictures.

Rappeling down a mill well, on the Athabasca Glacier. We used to do this for fun, and practice on steep ice.

The route to one area of ice climbs, you have to decend into a tight gully, and walk on the frozen river. These next pictures are of a "key stone" formed by a land (rock) slide off of Mt. Kitchner.
(can you see the face ?)

Last picture. This shot was at about 2-3AM. It was the view out my window at the work camp.

Mt. Kitchner at night......

What beautiful pictures!! That face is creepy, most definately! The picture of rappeling down the mill well-- is scary. That looks like a very loooooong drop!!
