Mouse catcher?

One of my pullets caught a mouse yesterday! At least, I think she caught it. She was running around with it dangling from her beak, daring the others to get it. Do chickens normally catch mice, or is she just......"special"....?

I find the occasional rodent by the chicken coop or out on ht e range with the chickens. I thought the cat's were trying to make friends...but I saw my Roo get after a mouse one time and that convinced me...Chickens(some) will catch and kill mice. Oh and snakes....

I have seen mine go after mice too. They love to play mouse keep away when they get one. Its like chicken football.
