So, I was candling the eggs that I have in my DIY incubator and I swore I saw something move in an egg, yet is is only day three. It was just a tiny movement, but I am fairly certain I saw it. Is it even possible for an embryo to move on day 3?

There will be development on that day. Not sure if there would be movement.. unless the temp is a little high you may get movement because of a little faster development due to the higher temperature

How small is the egg? It could be a meat spot in the egg. Tomorrow you could see veining and depending on how light shelled the egg is, you could see a little embryo and a heartbeat.

The temp is about 38°C

There is still development in an egg on day three, it could be very well possible that you did see movement but I have never seen movement as early as 3 days.

Is there a way that you could candle the egg and take a picture to share with us?

I agree that it might be a meat spot or it could have been a vein or it could even be the yolk moving.

A picture would help us to see what you are seeing...
