Movin the chicks to the new coop...need QUICK answer...like now

Our farm supply sells the covers as well, for a hefty price. It seems to me a kitchen funnel or oil funnel would work well and be much cheaper.

Since taking the new coop pics, we have hung the feeder...we are still trimming out the coop and run and need to paint...

We just put a Frisbee on top and cut slits where the ropes go. No one sits on it, I don't think they like the swing and it is in a little corner so they would have to work at it a bit to get up there.

our feeder is like a bubble with a dish underneath. the dish and bubble screw together, so the food is always covered at the top. the bubble part had holes whee the food spills into the feed dish. the dish bottom has legs so it can stand a little higher in the brooder so the chicks don't sit on it and it also has a wire hangar to use in the coop when that time comes. the water dish is a similar design. we have only used it for a week so far, but the food and water are clean and the chicks can reach them both just fine.
