Moving 2 Chickens

Here is the question. My Guieneas have basically abandoned their pen and roost in the trees at night. They do eat there during the day when they or not acres away????
Anyhow I have 2 Chicken hens up at Barn and would like to move them to that pen. How is the best way to do this and keep all happy birds

I find it best to transport chickens over any distance at all in a motor vehicle of some kind. It just takes too long to try and carry them for a mile or more.

On a serious note, Guineas and laying hens have always lived in the same coop in harmony at my place. The issue you are going to have is trying to get the hens to roost in the coop and not in the trees with the Guineas.

If you confine the hens to the coop for a couple weeks before free ranging them they should return to roost there naturally.
