Moving a Chicken with who has been sitting on an egg for over 2 weeks

Hi all, we have a little Silky sitting on an egg and wish to move her and the egg as she started with 3 and when they hatched a Hamburg chicken who lives in the same coop ate them Is it safe to move her so close to hatching time? Better than the alternative I guess

Can you pop a cage over top of her to keep her safe?
