Moving chicks to barn today...cleaning solution?

Good Morning, everyone!

We have an old barn that we put a small coop in for our 25 new assorted 4 week olds. It used to house chickens in it some 40 years ago, and has just had "stuff" stored in it all that time.

My question is: do I need to spray some sort of solution to kill any parasites, etc, ...like a light bleach solution? Or will they be okay?

After forty years I would not worry about it. Sweep or rake it out then spread fresh bedding. You should be OK.
