Hi Everyone,
We currently have (4) seven week old chicks (2 rambow eggers, 2 Buff Orps) that are growing like a weed. It is about time to move them to the Coop but I have been getting conflicting information about the timing. All 4 are mostly fully feathered and have been off any heat (but inside the garage) for about a week. In our area it is around 40 degrees at night and 55-60 during the day. My worry is that the night time temps are too cold for them but that might just be the first time parent fear in me. Should we wait a bit longer to put them in the coop? put them in with a heat lamp? put them in during the day but bring them in at night? I just don't know what the right answer is. Any and all help is appreciated.
