Moving house - Advice needed

relatively big area to the side of the house that would give two call ducks plenty of room. I thought we could lay sand, install a pond and put netting over this side so they don't feel cooped up all the time. I also considered it would be good for them as they won't have to be rounded up and put in their little house each night as it will be covered and safe, so they can go in and out as they please. Is this wishful thinking?

It will be an adjustment for them, ducks do not like change, but no reason they couldn't be just fine and happy in a new enclosed setup... and having the neighbors already accepting of them is a bonus!
