I got a year old turkey hen yesterday, with 5 of her young. They have been free ranging all day, but have not strayed too far from the chicken coop. It's dusk now, and I really want to get her back into the dog carrier and into the coop for the night, as she's camped out in the ex brooder behind the coop right now..

How Should I go about moving her? She really does not like me, and it is insanely difficult to grab her. Do i go in when it's dark and shove her in the carrier then take the carrier in the coop?? I'm really worried I will lose some of her babies if i do that!!! They are excellent at hiding and being quiet.... ( I just barely stepped on one that was in the grass today!!!!!!!!!!) The chicks are four days old.

Thank you everyone for your advice, was tremendously helpful. ÷/

I asked my mum to help me get the turkey and her chicks in the carrier
