Moving on from poultry grower pellets...

My chicks are 15 weeks old and I'm wondering when to stop feeding them growers pellets and move on to the layers pellets. Should I do it gradually or just change it instantly?

I would just mix it 50/50. Add some when your feeder is half-empty, and fill the other half with the new food and mix it in. I can't imagine it will be a huge issue, but other people might have better ideas. Usually bags of feed say what is recommended depending on what brand. I think with my food I read it was 16 weeks, but one week early shouldn't hurt.

Thank you. I looked on the bag but it was all in German so no luck! I will try this instead
