Moving to a FARM in Michigan, getting all kinds of birds!

We are moving in two years but I am getting ready now. Plan on getting chickens and pidgeons, and if the husband and neighbors will allow it....peacocks! I just found this site as a link at the top of my library's home page and can tell it is going to be one of my favorite stops. I have very little net access for a while, but in a few days I may be able to stop back in. But thanks to the Administrators for putting this thing together-I am so exited to have found this place, it will be a very valuable site for our oncoming lifestyle. I never even thought there could be such a forum...never thought about it to be sure. Must be a word of mouth thinmg. Anyway, I am off to explore the multitude of topics I can cram in before the library closes. Yes I have no internet at home...or cable TV. Just got a cell phone less than two years ago. Guess I am a luddite or something....
