moving to dallas

I'm most likly moving to dallas texas and I need to know if chickens are allowed there. Can I have A roo there to?

I would Google the state and city laws and see if you can find it or you can call the local city office I am not sure maybe you should post in the Texas forum maybe someone there will be able to answer your question.

where at in Dallas? I'm in a burb of Dallas and we are allowed 2 hens ( i have 4..shhh) no roos!

It really depends on where you are going to be located. Some areas have "deed restrictions", others have Home Owners Association rules, some towns and cities have bylaws that address chickens, and some don't. If you let me know specifically what city or town you are moving to, we can find out what's possible. A lot of cities have their city ordinances online these days, and that makes it easier to find.
