Moving to WA state and getting chicks again

I've had chickens before. Jersey Giants in Calif, then Red sexlinks in southern OR.
We are moving up to Vancouver WA in a couple of months on some acreage. I'm thrilled to get chickens again, and some ducks too. My SIL cannot eat chicken eggs, but he can eat Duck eggs, so I'll be his provider! I'm also on TEG for many years.
