Hello! I was hoping to find some locals in or around Wilson, NC we will be moving down there end of May this year! Maybe some tips on good areas to look in that allow chickens and livestock.

I am in the county next to Wilson County.

As for looking at property, I would tend to look outside the city of Wilson and avoid any HOA's although some areas there probably allow a few chickens not sure about roosters or other livestock. There are also lot's of horse folks here. I'm sure it will vary as this is a big agriculture area. Best thing to do when you find something your interested in is to check with the zoning dept. Can probably get the phone number from the clerk's office at the court house or any realtor. Even if a realtor says "livestock allowed" I would verify with zoning.
