Has anyone used this as a dewormer? Does it work? Should you eat eggs if hens are treated with it?

I doubt that will work. I have been owning poultry for years and never heard of that being used as a dewormer. Plus, there are very few dewormings that are given via water. The dose seems too less to me to even deworm anything. It seems to be more of a supplement like Poultry Cell. What worms are you dealing with?

Valbazen (albendazole) and Safeguard (fenbendazole) are what I recommend. I can help with dosages.

It’s what the feed store has & a friend got it. I haven’t seen any worms in my flock but wondered if i need to do anything as a precaution. Last time we had chickens here, they were free range & We never dewormed them. Now I have 10 hens who are in the coop at night and free range for 5-8 hours a day. We no longer have other livestock.

I would not trust that "brand"

For what its worth, get a bottle of Valbazen. Its good stuff. Safeguard works as well. It may say "for cattle" but its commonly used for chickens off label. Ivermectin is good for external pests and sometimes for roundworms. Get a needleless syringe as well. I deworm twice a year for all my birds. I do not recommend deworming too often, as in birds, like in hogs and in other animals, the parasites could build a resistance to the deworming. Its hard to overdose on Valbazen or Safeguard, just never underdose.

I thought I uploaded a 2nd photo that included ingredients. Here it is.
Thanks. There is nothing in the ingredients that indicates Mr. A's poultry tonic is a wormer.
There is sulpher which treats bacterial and some protozoal poultry infections. It can be used in powder form for external parasite issues. Definitely not worms.
