Mr. T (tom turkey) is getting aggressive....Help!

I've raised pet turkeys for a while now and although the toms I've had were protective of their hens and loved to strut their stuff, but this is different. My 6 mo. old Mr. T that I raised from a small 3-day poult along with the two hens is now being mean when I get near to clean their area or come with food and goodies for him. Today he did a karate kid jump and kick at me. This makes me sad b/c I just like to sit with them and watch how beautiful they are. Is there anything I can do to assure him that I;m not a threat and put a lid on it before it gets any worse?

I've kept lots of toms and none have shown any aggressive behaviors. I would be rid of him and try again, I don't think you can change their minds once they decide something, and they are too big and strong and could be dangerous.

I guess I just have bad luck. He's so pretty I can't let him go, but I will be careful. Thank you!

I seen Toms go after the roosts in my flock. One of my game cocks got into a fight with a Tom and almost got killed. Never seen toms come aft my kids, if they did, they would be in the freezer that day.
