Most of my chickens have what looks like mud clods on their toes/feet. Is this just due to the weather (miserable Missouri!) or is this something I need to worry about? Seems like I've seen them like this before during the "monsoon season" but hubby was wondering, so I figured I better "ask the experts"!

Thanks much, in advance, for all suggestions and help!

If they wash off and are mud, no worries. It rains 10 months a year out here in the PNW... and then some.... so my chicken's feet are always muddy when they are outside... they are only "clean" after spending the night roosting and tilling in the coop litter.
