One of my chooks has fallen over in the mud and a lot of her feathers are matted with mud. Should I wash her? If so how and how do I dry her?

Not that warm, 55 degrees farenheit or 13 celcius. What soap can I use other than dawn? Is any soap ok? Shampoo?Yes, you should wash her. With warm water and dawn soap. You will need to blow dry her when done. What are your temps where you are?
Thanks! Same as the other, what can I use instead of dawn soap, I don't have that :/Yes, you may give her a bath. Using Dawn dish soap. Pat her dry with a towel, then keep her in a warm dry place afterwards. Feed her scrambled eggs and you can give her some nutradrench afterwards.. This will give her good protein and the electrolytes after being stressed from the bath.
Esp if she is not use to Being handled.
Baby soap or gentle shampoo are best if you don’t have dawn. Not that warm, 55 degrees farenheit or 13 celcius. What soap can I use other than dawn? Is any soap ok? Shampoo?
Thanks! I've never done this before...Baby soap or gentle shampoo are best if you don’t have dawn.
ThanksIf its cold outside,, Bring her inside if you can and allow her to acclimate. Then, fill your sink up with warm water. Hold her close and talk sweet as you lower her into the water. Allow her to stand. Use a cup and poor water over her gently and slow. Once wet, use your mild soap. Lather her up like you would yourself. Then put her into some clean water and rinse her.
