[Mudpuppy Farm]

Hello everyone we are Mudpuppy Farm a small farm in Maine, we have goat's, ducks, guinea fowl, turkey's and now chickens. We started out flock in July of 2020 wanting our own fresh eggs. We also thought it would be nice to have some to sell at the farmers markets because of the demand for local eggs. We order a Cackle Surprise and mini Cackle surprise from Cackle Hatchery thinking it would be nice to have a variety of different chicken's. We did get that and we also got 3 turkey's and 2 ducks in the order. We ended up with about 43 hen's and are excited to see what we end up with for eggs. At this time we are getting between 8 and 12 a day. I am not sure about all the breeds of chickens that we have, but so far I know I have cochin, polish, sexlink, maran, barred rock, wellsummer, and more. I do enjoy the facebook page that you have and I was really happy to see this forum. I love the fact that I can search for things under topics. I can't wait to learn more and hopefully grow our flock a little larger. Thank you so much for having us.
