Multi-flock for baby chicks

Last week, I bought a bag of Multi-Flock raiser for my birds. I have 5 hens, and will soon have 24+ baby chicks. Today, when I opened up the bag, instead of seeing crumble, I discovered pellets. My girls have never eaten pellets, so, I don't know if they will. That's not such an issue, because I've been fermenting their feed, and intend to ferment it for the chicks. So, here's my question: Will these pellets be a small enough grind when fed as fermented feed to the chicks? Or should I take them back??

The pellets will crumble once the get wet so I wouldn't worry about it with the chicks.

I feed fermented all-flock to my babies and they are thriving! The pellets will turn to mush when fermented, so no worries there.
