Hi there,

I'm new here and I have a couple of questions. 1st... I have a hen(Sassy) that just hatched 3 chicks about 8 days ago, yesterday I had another hen(Sugar) start to set on a clutch. I have Sassy and chicks separated in another coop, this is our first time having more than one broody hen, so should I move Sugar in with the mama and babies or wait until its closer to hatching time? Usually I move them after about a week of setting just to make sure she is going to stay put, but I'm not sure if Sassy will bode well with this interference. 2nd... I have 2 roosters that live nicely together and I wanted to know if an egg can be fertilized by more than one rooster? They both get on the girls and usually its one right after the other. I can see definite traits from the Silkie in the chicks but not from the other rooster.

Thanks
