multiple drakes

i finally have my shed together and most of my supplies.

i was thinking about ordering some fawn and white runner ducks from cackle hatchery. only thing is that the females are twice as much ($8.70 vs $4.65) as the males.

i don't really eat eggs and i mostly just like the companionship. can i keep three males together? i don't know if they will fight like roosters will. i read that males are quieter.

i also think i might get males because they are taller (about 30" instead of 20") and the additional height will hopefully scare my cat. he has never attacked other pets before but is a successful hunter. he hunts at night and lines up his kills in even rows and collumns outside the back door for us to see. he is a 11-pound siamese who weighs a lot more than a 4-pound duck but he is a small cat for his weight and since all my animals live together, i hope he won't pick a fight with a pack of knee-high drakes.
