I am looking to start the incubator tomorrow. I was hoping to fill it, but such was not the case. I am wondering if it would be possible to have an incubation area and a hatching area. Removing the eggs from the incubator when the turning is supposed to stop into another vessel for hatching. If that will work, what does this other container need to have besides humid/temp?

If you are using a tabletop styrofoam incubator its virtually impossible to stagger hatch, unless you have a second incubator. The differences in humidity stop you from doing as such. High humidity for the eggs that are hatching will kill the developing eggs, and the low humidity for the developing eggs will stop the eggs that are hatching.

I am thinking of removing the eggs that are ready to hatch into another container completely.

Just wondering why the humidity being 15-20 % higher for like 3 or 4 days would be that bad for the other eggs.

What kind of container? Do you mean like another incubator?

Yea, i supposed. I guess i will need to construct something that can maintain the proper humidity and temp. Do i need anything else in there?

i use another incubator for my hatcher and always seem to have a stagger hatch with my LG incubator...
