Multiple soft shelled eggs help!!

I have 10 chickens! 4 have started laying with 6 not there just yet! This past week I have collected my 3-4 normal eggs a day and now have started getting a soft shelled or almost no shell eggs every day (this morning I got 2 which i added a picture of) they are on layer feed & have oyster shell available! Is there something else I can be doing? I think they are all from the same chicken but not 100% sure as I haven't been able to catch it being laid. Help!!

That's actually not unusual for new layers. It takes their bodies a couple of days, sometimes a bit more, to get it right.

I'd give it a week and you should see improvement.

Thank you! I knew one or two could be normal but wasn't sure if a week could also be normal! I'll give them some more time and see what happens!

And then, months will go by with all perfect eggs, and you'll get one that isn't right.

It's very rare, but I've gotten a shell-less egg from seasoned hens, looked down to see the bowl of oyster shell was still half full, and scratched my head.
