I have been pretty busy and have not posted any thing lately.I wanted to tell everyone how much we have enjoyed all of our chickens we ordered from MM.We order 50 Jumbo X for meat and recieved someone elses babies.They were Buff Orpintons(13 pullets,9 Cockerels,and the rest red star cockerel fillers)The next week they sent the right ones.The same week we recieced my sons cick from the 4-h chick chain for 4-h(RIR)and 7 extra Black stars.I forgot three free chicks they sent.Then in 6weeks we order 75 jumbo x meat and two other ones plus two free.I think that was it.We lost 6 babies either doa or as they were growing ,two when they got moved outside.Our meat chickens did good till it got to hot,so the second batch got processed early.But the part I wanted to brag about was my son and his chickens.He won reserve grand champion with his RIR pullets and best of show from his chick chain and first on his RIR cockerel.and a first for his buff orpington cockerel a first for his golden Polish cockerel a second on his buff orpington pullet and last he won first and best of show for his Crevecoeurs pullet.We never thought that we would have some much fun.Plus, the best part is a freezer full of chicken and 21 eggs a day.

125 Jumbo x meat and 71 mix egg layers.After the few deaths and culling the meat and extra cockerels and the 6 my son gave back the 4-h program we have 39 pullets 6 cockerels.We go out three times a day to take care of them.
