That's funny goosedragon because in my experience my Muscovy drakes are never as brutal as mallard deriv drakes and won't touch a mallard deriv. duck. I've had two that would rape a cripple goose I had, both were bought at an auction and promptly taken right back. My Welsh drakes were ten times worse than my Muscovy drakes and they're about a third of the size. Guess it just goes to show that they don't read the manual as people like to say!

Sometimes when you raise batches at different times, they tend to hang together. We have about 30 ducks now and there are 'several' flocks. Yeah, the Pekins kinda hang together, the rouens kinda hang together and then the geese with their respective adopted or hatched duckling families.

I'd love to have some crested Pekins~!!
