Muscovy and embdem goose

Are laying eggs in the same nest? It's first time for both of these mom's. Muscovy eggs are fertile , but not the goose( I've no gander).

Forgot to say there's more nest s but for some reason they don't use them .

Is that weird? I have other nests. Why are they sharing?

Ah. Well, all of my chickens do that.

Muscovies are famous for trying to steal a nest that another bird has set up, and I've had a chicken and muscovy hatch and raise babies together. But if the goose decides to go broody, she will likely kick muscovy out and sit on whatever eggs are in the nest, which I've also had happen.

I try to create nests that look claimed, including adding a couple of eggs, to lure my girls (chickens, ducks and geese) to use their own nests, although it is very common for each species to share their nest with their favorite friend.
