Muscovy babies hatched yesterday! PIC

I may start advertising ducklings to sell. I should start getting some chocolates soon.

I'm a little concerned about this mom, she hatched out a lone duckling in Feb and abandoned it a few days later. I'm hoping she does better now with more babies. There are 7 or 8, I think. She is pretty laid back right now. Just chirps at me if I look. She's not the attacker like one of the others. LOL



I always love baby pics but I really could just upload a pic of any of my past hatches as all of these this year look exactly alike. Black barred. Though some of the boys are will throw chocolate.

good luck with that! you know i have nest #2 well under way.... oye. They are adorable! i got a black & white with this last hatch, just one though the rest are blues. Who knows what on earth this current nest will bring, two eggs are the mama's she's a chocolate the others are from a solid white, dad is the one it always is, the black & white pied.

Hopefully yours will step up ok. I know i am a bit worried how this one will do, she's only 9mths old....
