Muscovy Drake hates water?

I've never seen him swim in the kiddie pool after he fully feathered. Is your drakes like thst?

Most drakes are heavy when mature. They can have troubles getting in and out of things like pools. They also don't swim as much as the females in general.

I have heard that Muscovies aren't big swimmers. It can also vary by bird and their personalities.

Most muscovy just take bathe where mallard based breeds like to swim. Since muscovy evolved in south America with caiman and crocodile it isn't in their best interest to linger in the water.
