Muscovy drake questions

So I know muscovy ducks are somewhat seasonal layers, but I was curious if the drakes would mate year round? I wanted to get a muscovy and a pekin for offsprings for meat, but only if a muscovy drake would mate the pekin duck year round, thanks for any responses

Might if your in the far south. Here in mountains of NC mine only mate spring through fall my Muscovy. I have a friend in Texas who has Muscovy and they mate year round.

I live in a place in the North but on the coast, it doesn't get that cold or too warm, would you say maybe that would be a bit longer of a breeding season than in colder season but not year round?
