muscovy duck and chickens

We have one muscovy duck, one muscovy drake, three diver ducks, three diver duckling and 14 chickens. Every time the drake muscovy tries to mount the duck muscovy the chickens come running and attack them, they all have separate houses for the night and share a big yard in the day. She lays an egg every day and now with five has started to sit only at night. I am wondering if she is able to hatch a clutch would the chicks be safe in the yard with the chickens or would it be wiser to separate the yard so the ducks have more peace?

There's nothing more vicious than a momma muscovy. I like to try to pen my duck moms and their ducklings for a week or two to keep them safe, and keep them near the food and water.
