Muscovy duck flew off. Will she come back?

I hope you see her coming in very soon. Even a body of water a mile or so away may have enticed her.
I hope so too! The closest water of any kind that I can find on Google maps is Hayden Lake 2+ miles away. Almost the entire lake is surrounded by private residences. If by some chance she made it all the way there I will just have to pray someone notices her. I've posted on Craigslist and Facebook and have lots of locals keeping their eyes out. Pretty sure she is going to stay away from people, though. The Lord will have to bring her home if that's his will.

YAY! Miracles! Lily is home!
Someone contacted me late this afternoon saying they had my duck. She was hanging around the outside of a commercial building about a half mile from here. She's been gone 8 days. She's doing really well, no sign of frostbite, no sign of harm. She definitely lost a couple pounds. I guess she finally got hungry enough to go near people. Thankfully the people at the business took the time to catch her and find out where she belonged. They had a catch em alive trap. And considering how jittery she was with me just getting her home, I doubt she would have been easy to catch without it.
So thankful to have her home. Last night it got down to 10 degrees. Friday it's suppose to be -9. Glad we found her before that. I finished clipping her wing so no more flying for poor Lily.
Thanks for all the concern and for the prayers, I really appreciate it.
Katie

How is Lily doing after her great adventure?

She is doing well, feisty as ever. She is getting picked on by the flock, evidently they didn't like her getting to go on an adventure and they having to stay home LOL.
Fortunately I have one female who gets along well with her and I have been keeping the two of them together during the day and locking the flock up together at night.
