Muscovy Hens/Submissive Stance

I have 5 Muscovies that are about 9 months old. I cannot tell if they are females or males, but they are all the same size/body shape. Today, when I fed them one of them came up beside me and I put my hand on his/her back and he squatted down against the ground. I am wondering if this is the same as the submissive squat that hens do when they are receptive to a rooster? This is my first time raising Muscovies and I'm anxious to find out if this could be a giveaway that I have females?

Sounds like a female assuming the mating stance. At this age drakes should be at least a third larger than hens.

I was thinking that if I had any drakes they should be quite a bit larger. One of the Muscovies started off a lot smaller, so I assumed that one was a female and the other four were males. Now she's caught up to the same size. I also saw two of them holding their tails up really high when my Pekin approached them in their bathtub. So now it looks like I need to find a drake!
