Everyone says that muscovy eggs are some of the hardest to hatch in the incubator. Does anyone have any tips or tricks to recommend to a newbie? Has anyone ever tried incubating them like a goose egg? Would taking them out and letting them cool help out at all?

My girls are laying well, but I would like to attempt to incubate a few myself as no one has started setting yet. I would appreciate any advice I can get.

Thanks!

This will be my first time "trying" to hatch ducks... and lol...I got some Muscovy ducks...and from what I heard...they are hard to hatch..

I just got some Muscovy fertile eggs...ahhhh...I'm so lost on what to do, and there is really nothing to reference to. I guess I'm just going to have to experiment. You're the first person that I know that wants to do what I'm going to do basically with a blindfold on my eyes....lol

I did some research and found this:

http://www.ehow.com/way_5809357_do-hatch-muscovy-duck-eggs_.html

The temperature should be set at 99.5 degrees. The relative humidity should be set at about 75 percent--this is a higher percentage than other duck eggs hatch at. <--What do you think? So should I set my incubator at this temp.

Here is a PDF of something:

If anyone can assist in this, then it would greatly help!

Im just hoping when I get mine (in may) that they will just do me the favor of just going broody....Or ill stick em under a broody hen....
