A momma Muscovy decided that the hen house would be a very nice place to have a nest. The problem is, it's very safe for adult birds, but I don't really think it is very safe for baby birds. I have been preparing an area to use as a "nursery" since we had planned on baby chicks. Unfortunately, it was not finished in time to move the duck before she started setting.
Do you think it would be safe to move the Mrs. and her 15 eggs, or should I wait till they hatch? The thing is, they are due to hatch Easter weekend, a very hectic weekend for us.

Thanks. Hopefully they'll hatch the day before Easter.
It's an old hen house that I have been fixing up. It's o.k. for the adult birds, but the babies tend to "disappear". I haven't got all the tiny spaces dealt with yet.
