Muscovy nesting question

Will the muscovy hens disappear and nest like chickens do? My hen disappeared a few days ago. She was starting to lay. I wonder if something got her or if she has a nest. We have lots of woods behind the property...

she could very well be sitting, mine quietly make a nest and lay a clutch. And then dissapear, I usually find them after a few days and then keep an eye on them just in case.

Mine all nest in the barn. I provide upside down Rubbermaid round plastic totes for them..with a hole cut out. Some of them prefer to lay in the chicken nest boxes though.
I've never had one nest outside, even though their are a few secluded places where they could do so.

Mine still hasn't come back. I am afraid something probably got her she always would come back before. Now I am down to 2 boys and 1 girl.

if she is sitting she won't come back. When mine sit they come back maybe once a week to eat and get something to drink then go back to sit.
