Hi there! I have six ducklings whose voices are JUST starting to change. I’m waiting for those to see who’s male and female. But I’m so curious about one of them (the only NOT khaki Campbell)— it was yellow/white as a duckling, and its feathers are growing in buff. It’s friendlier & braver than my khakis (and bigger). I affectionately call it “Ron Weasley”, but that may change depending on the quack 😂 Any guesses to what kind of duck it is?

Muscovies are very different. At that age you’d begin to see red on its face, his/her feet would be huge, the bill would be different, and it doesn’t even stand like a Muscovy.
Adult Muscovey ducks don't quake. Males do more of a hiss. Females chirp whenever they are upset.
Males start growing caruncles around sixteen weeks of age; females only kick in when they're about twenty weeks old. 5-month-old juvenile ...
This is also called their mask.
