muscovy or pekin for meat

I’m looking to get white rock chickens and either Pekin or Muscovy. I need them to Ben buttered at the sam time. What do you think is best age? Is it best to get pekin or Muscovy with the chickens? which is tastier for meat?

Jumbo White Peking. I've got six grown. They are easy to raise and good eating.

I think it also depends on flavor. Pekins are delicious but I've heard muscovy meat is more "steak" like. Ducks are super easy to raise as long as you keep other animals from eating them before you do.

I raised Muscovy. Every morning, the females take off and do a couple of circles over the neighborhood. Pretty cool. The boys are too fat.
They say that their flesh is more like veal that duck.
I ate some and I personally prefer the much oilier Pekin meat.
