muscovy question (just wondering)

i mean they don't have a pretty voice nor different feathering like some bird species use to attract a mate so perhaps the hens are attracted to their pretty red caruncles
 
I don't know, either. But, it could be because the females find the males more attractive the more wrinkly their faces are, like Zazouse said. The males might also like the small carnuncles on the females better than big ones.
 
Probably because they never developed the genes for it or lost those genes during their genetic divergence from their common ancestor.
