Muscovy still go broody?

Since were almost done with the year, I was wondering if muscovys will go broody at this time?

Its possible but very unlikely this late in the year.

I live in Iowa, and mine are normally done about July at the very latest. I have about 50% of my hens that will hatch in July and about half that are done by June. This is Nov, unless you live in a very warm place year round, I don't think they will.

One of mine is sitting on a nest right now, but she's due anyday.

Interesting ... I thought muscovies would set if they were still laying ... mine is working on a clutch right now so I just assumed it wasn't too late for her to set. (Although I know it is very late for her to be laying ... thought she was through for the season and then she suddenly started laying last week.)
