Muscovy with strange bump

I have an about 5 month old female muscovy with what I had believed to be a cyst on the front of her face near her bill. It was about the size of a grape and I aspirated it last night expecting pus or some sort of infected looking contents to come out. Instead, it was an almost completely clear fluid and has come back today. After trying to find anything similar on the internet or anything about possible glands or ducts that may be causing this, I've come up with nothing. Does anyone have experience or an answer to this?

I would guess it's an abscess. Unless you open it up more it will just close up and fill back up.

Thank you for the response. I'll definitely be wrangling her again tonight to drain and open it up more.

I would agree that it's most likely an abscess of sorts. I would try slicing it open, and packing it with an antibacterial ointment such as Neosporin if you can. If it continues to swell, I would suggest starting her a broad-spectrum antibiotic.
