Music & Chickens

I have been reading where Classical Music calms the chicks, and I saw it first hand this evening!!
They are getting ready to move to the coop from the brooder box tomorrow, and I want the transition to be as smooth as possible!

So, after I fed them tonight, I gave them streaming Classical Music from Pandora (my iPad) for about 30 minutes! They were calm and loving it! As soon as I retrieved my iPad into the house....they chirped like I was plucking their feathers!

The strangest thing ever! Guessing I will have to have MUSIC piped into the coop for them!

i have hear that also, i sing to mine from the time they are in the egg . not that its classic, they are just the only ones that cant run from me. even my cat will lay his ears against his head. lol but they know me and my voice and get very excited when they here me coming.
