Fascinating! Playing 528radio.com (528 hertz music) for the chickens while I'm out here with them for their forage session.
They're all just sitting, listening to the music, instead of out foraging.
The door is open for them.
What’s your experience with music & your chickens?

I have not tried it yet but have been thinking about it. I need to figure out how to pipe it out to the coops where the layers are. And then what to try first. Instrumental only or voice too. Would by any chance some old time Rock 'N Roll get 'em in and out of the nest boxes sooner?

Our ducks and geese have their night pens inside my horse barn. I used to work at a small animal vet and we always played calm classical music in the kennels. We never had any barking unless we were feeding. I have a CD player that holds 5 discs and put it on when I bring them in at night. I think all the animals like classical music if it's calm! Sometimes I play Enya or if I'm working Yanni, but usually only instrumental.
